My Bio
I'm Emilia de Vries, welcome on my Deviant Art page! I’m a amateur photographer, and I started when I was about twelve when I got my first camera. At that age I photographed pretty much everything, except people. Now, it’s the other way around. I like human photography the most because I love the challenge of the multiple aspects of it, working with different people, finding good locations, working on outfits, etc.
Experience wise, in 2008 I attended the Academy of Photography in Groningen, The Netherlands and in 2009 I was working with the Dutch Casting Agency. There I helped models with building their portfolios. Since I am a full time student as well, I stopped photographing there, but I still love it and try to shoot once in a while.

Hello friends, watchers and visitors!
Almost a year ago I also posted a journal about the prospect of being an American Studies student and how my life was about to change. It’s unbelievable how fast this year went by….now I’m already a sophomore; I like the sound of that!
During the summer months I had a tremendous time doing what I love most: cruising! I absolutely have a deep love for the sea so I was very happy to be spending 3 weeks of my holiday crossing the Atlantic Ocean. I went from Copenhagen to Edinburgh, where I stayed for two days. This is a wonderful Scottish city, I can truly recommend it. From there on I went
